I’m an independent agent, so I can compare more than one insurer. I’m also paid by commission, which is a real conflict of interest. That is why I show you how I’m paid and why a written fact-find comes before any recommendation.

If it makes sense to keep going, we gather the facts in writing first: income, budget, health, goals, what you already own. Then you get a written summary and side-by-side options, with the tradeoffs spelled out.
You take the summary home and decide on your own time. Ask your family, your attorney or your accountant. Choosing to do nothing is a fine answer.
When you buy a policy or annuity through us, the insurer pays us a commission. You do not pay us a fee, for the first conversation or anything after it.
Commissions differ by product and insurer, and that can pull an agent toward one choice over another. So before you apply, we tell you how we’re compensated for the product we recommend, and we’ll give you the commission amount in writing if you ask.
